Today brings us Ms. Hayden Panettiere once again. While we've seen this model of shoe here before and we're not crazy about it, it does show off some rather nice toe cleavage.

A focus on the wonderful world of toe cleavage

the frankenstien shoes are killin me...good thing she's barefoot in them
Bring back classic high heel closed toe pointed court shoe with no platform and plenty of toe cleavage. Bring back the Louboutin Pigalle... Please. This current fashion of over-done shoe with platforms; hidden or not is crime. I hope this trend doesn't last too much longer.
Why does anyone call these "hidden" platforms? Its easy to see at a glance from a distance the deformation of the forepart of the foot and it is not appealing even though I find Ms. Panetierre very attractive.
Chief,
I've been enjoying attractive women in high heeled pumps since I was a kid in the late 60's, and the trend is bleak. Ugly is the only way shoe designers go after they "revive" the classic pump for several years. The "clunker shoes" of the early 80's are now back, and if my research is accurate, it will take at least five years for designers to "rediscover" the classic pump. I do like the Today Show for one reason: Meredith and Anne seem to eschew ugly for classic pumps (for the time being, but that may end). It looks bleak...

Careful observation of the lower left photo shows that the insole of her left pump is visible between the cleavage of her first and second toes. Now that is full-thickness toe cleavage.
