Rose McGowan !!!

I'm not sure what happened to Rose McGowan... For awhile, she was one of the regulars here, showing up fairly often in some really nice footwear. But then she was overcome with the open-toed shoe malady that seems to be spreading faster than the Swine Flu - especially in Hollywood. Well, at least she's back here today, if for even a fleeting moment. We'll take whatever toe cleavage we can get from her.

It's been about 9 months since Rose McGowan has been featured here on my site. I think that's because this recent appearance was the first time she's donned pumps since last November. I'm serious. I've seen quite a few photos of her at public appearances since then, and it's been sandal after sandal. Good to see that she's returned to her (good fashion) senses.

I've been really disappointed with Rose McGowan the last few months. Since her last appearance here (with a cast on her leg), I have not been able to find one single instance of her out in public wearing anything but open-toed heels. Uck. So I went back in my archives and found several lots of photos with her in some nice toe cleavage footwear - none of which I've shown here before. Keep in mind that these are from at least about a year ago. That said, I do really like her look in the bottom 3 photos here. But c'mon Rose, give us something more recent !!

One toe cleavaged shoe is better than none...

I really have to hand it to Rose McGowan. In this day and age when too many starlets forgo the high heeled pump and constantly wear sandaled footwear, here's Ms. McGowan. With her left leg encased in an ugly black cast, she still finds a way to make the most of the situation... by donning a toe cleavage pump on her right foot. And as you can see below, she just didn't do it once. What a trooper!!!

Roses are red....

And so is this Rose... Rose McGowan that is. Not only is her hair truly red, but so are her lovely pumps. Gosh are these a nice change to the landscape or what? Not a traditional style pump, but still having nice features that accentuate her toe cleavage. It's nice to see someone taking some initiative and giving us some variety..

A few follow-up items...

I wanted to steer a bit off course today and follow up on a few items of the past week or so. They all involve our favorite topic of course, so please bear with me.

First, I posted the other day on how unique Paris Hilton's feet are, and how it's sometimes hard to see where her tarsal tendons end and where her toe cleavage starts. Well, here's a picture that I just found that really highlights that point even further...



Second, there was a suggestion made in relation to the Anne Hathaway post that suggested something about the woman sitting next to her in the one front row fashion show photo. I agree that it wasn't the best photo of Chloe Sevigney. But this one here might be. It's hard to believe it's the same gal. And check out her toe cleavage in these pumps....



Lastly, and I almost hate to go here again - but hey, it's my blog. Back to the subject of hosiery and toe cleavage. Like I said, I'd much rather see the bare version. BUT, there are times when it doesn't look all too bad - especially with the very sheerest nylons. Well, here's a few recent photos that I found of Rose McGowan. These actually look to be sheer fishnets (if there actually is such a thing) with her Louboutin pumps. And the toe cleavage is very clear; one could even say pronounced by the hosiery. Again, I'd still rather see it bare... but IMO this look ain't all that bad, all things considered.

It wasn't all that long ago that I wasn't the biggest Rose McGowan fan. Maybe it was the Marilyn Manson thing and all... But I do have to say that right now, she's one of the hottest young actresses around. Of course, maybe the change in my perception has to do with her more recent penchant for wearing these wonderful toe-cleavage pumps....
