The bug is long gone, and I'm cool with Anon's apology in the comments of the last post.
So, where's the pictures, right?
Well, in the sort of perfect storm of the past week, I also came to learn that I have pretty much used up my allotment of disk space on Google/Picasa. In reality, I guess I'm surprised it took this long to reach this point, given the several thousand images I've posted to date. But this all puts me in a bit of a quandry as to what to do. Here's my options as I see them:
- Delete the older entries. Gosh, something about this option really is unattractive to me. I guess I keep thinking that there are new followers joining us here each and every week, and I'd like to keep all the old archives for the newbies here to peruse. As well, sometimes I just like to go back and revisit some of those old posts from time to time.
- Pay for more storage. This is definitely a viable option and it's not exactly a lot of money, but this will be an ongoing (yearly) cost. I hate spending money on something like this, especially when I spend so much of my own time on this site already. I suppose I could solicit donations, but I really don't want to do that either.
- Selectively delete the less-than-outstanding older entries. This is the route I'm most likely to choose, but the downside is the amount of time it will take for me to perform this labor. As well, I'll need to continue to monitor the situation, and continue to edit so that I don't exceed my allotted space in the future.
I'm looking for your thoughts on what you think I should do.

Hi Chief. I'm one of the viewers that never leaves comments. I'm sure that there are many more like me and probably all of them feel the same way. I enjoy your site very much and think it would be a big loss if you didn't continue with the site. I can only guess at the enormous amount of time you must spend on this project. So, I for one would be willing to contribute some cash if that would help. I hardly ever look at the old posts, but there have been the odd occasion where I have. In my opinion, creating space for new posts would be the cheapest and easiest way to go.
Thank you for such a wonderful way to start each day.
good to hear you're better chief, sad to hear what the blog is forcing on you I'm stuck on 1 & 3 with the economy like it is and not as many named bloggers number 2 may be nearly imposs.
maybe delete the ones with the least comments
Perhaps create a 'best of' collection. I know there's at least a few pics worthy of Hall of Fame status. You do an amazing service for us TC fans. TY Chief
i would go for the cash option, start by having a donation button on ur site & who knows it might become your online business!
May i ask how many daily visitors do u have ?
Glad to hear that you are back! I check your blog daily. Your devotion and commitment does not go unnoticed! Maybe you could delete the oldest posts and put the photos on a flickr page or something. Or perhaps start an archives blog on another site. Either way, glad to see you back. Take care.
I would suggest (jokingly) that if you have to remove older posts, go ahead and do so as long as you keep all of the Pamela Anderson postings!! That lady is simply awesome.
Thanks for all of your hard work, it is certainly appreciated.
take out the ones that were no good
Glad to have you back Chief. I think we would all be cool with whatever you decide. Losing some of the great posts from the past would be a shame though. It's your world and we're just lucky enough to be living in it! Thanks for all you do Chief!
Hi Chief,
its good that you OK from illness.
Sorry about my English, I write you from Berlin (Germany).
I guess, I'm every Day at your site to look for the news....
So, I agree with the first poster (8:12 AM) to choose more space and go on with the site without deleting older posts (pic for the newbies, i know...).
I think we can share the yearly costs by the daily-user of this site. This will be a possible way for the next years, please let us know what "round-about" these yearly cost are have to be...
For me it is no Problem to send some money for the TC-Project via Paypal or international Banking-order...
Greetings from Germany!
I think you should take out the older posts. I know that newer readers will lose out, but you could always repeat these posts later on. And thanks 4 this great site.
Why not just open up a new account, with new space limitations, and either link to it here, or find a way to "frame" the second site in the first one. Either way, there's no shortage of disc space in the virtual world and a second site might allow you to keep this one intact, as a sort of permanent archive while the next one grows.
Cant you use an off site storage like imageshack or something like that?
I know it is less reliable though, so that could be an issue in the end...
Tough decision, but i vote for removing the older ones. I know it wont be easy as some of them are classics. One of the comments was open a new "best of" site...
thanks for all of your beautiful photos.

I never comment...but would be happy to give a donation since I check this site pretty often. Just let us know how to send that over to you. Many thanks and keep up the good work!!
Hi Chief. I also don't typically leave comments,I just enjoy the view! I remember when I first came across your site (probably about a year ago)and it took me ages to go through the archives but it was well worth it! I don't have a problem making a contribution to extend the space, what sort of money do you need to raise? I bet you won't have a problem getting the required amount, why not give it a go?
just an idea. You always post multiple images of each "subject". You could reduce that to one image for very old posts. That way it reduces space but keeps an example of the post.
Just a thought.
Good luck with the descision. Awesome site!

Chief,
Nothing is forever and there are always limits to contend with. Many of the older posts are spectacular; howerver there will be others to come that will make us forget about those in the past. The easiest solution is to begin deleting all posts of a certain age on a rolling basis. For example, every month delete all previous posts that are a year old. This gives everyone fair warning, doesn't create a burden for you to chooose which to save and which to discard and, most importantly, keeps a superb website in existence. Many thanks for all you have done.
Sounds to me like the simplist option would be delete 2007 posts. This would buy another 5 months or so and maybe the world will turn by then. Bob
Chief, Anon 1 hit the nail on the head: cash contributions. Considering how wonderous the content is here and the amount of effort you put forth to make it available to us for free, I think it's about time we help out a little. Seriously, the content on your site is so good I have no reason to go to a pay site to see TC pics so I'd much rather contribute.

I'd be happy to contribute.
Chief, since there are so many fabulous suggestions here you have great choices. What a wonderful, thoughtful and caring constituentcy exists on your blog. If money is a solution just email me and I'll immediately send $100. And I'll probably be an El Cheapo here but that's the best I can do in this recession.
Hi your site is superb for the toe cleavage lovers. Please keep posting you magnificent pictures, mainly the ones with great toe cleavage.
Thank you
from far away Argentina

Hey Chief, Glad to know you are OK.
I think I can agree with Anon at October 30, 2009 4:07 PM, that coul be an escape to the problem without deleting all your previous work here.
Anyway let us know what you are going to do
Great site. If you delete anything, keep the close-ups. They're the best!
Hello Chief,
Definitely the best option is route 3. There are a lot of old photos that can be deleted based on quality issues. All ugly type of shoes (platforms) and all those where not much cleavage can be seen can be deleted. Then there are a lot of movie star photos that often are four times inserted per dayreview showing more or less the same. Also here you can make choices based on quality. This can reduce the number of photo's by a factor three. Also in posting new ones you can be more selective, saves you time and the quality of the webpage goes up.
Hi chief. I am a bit late leaving my comment, but I really wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the work you make bringing us wonderfull pics of wonderfull gals with wonderfull toe-cleavage.
Please keep going on, your site is the best on the subject I ever found. I think option 3 is the best
for us all. I assume you will need time for processing the sorting of what is worth and what is less, but you will manage OK for sure.
Big up, you're doing GREAT. Waiting for the next post impatiently !!!!
