Follow up to my rant

Thanks all for the comments so far. It looks like most of you agree with my sentiments, though a couple are holdouts on the french pedi thing. Be assured Shaq91 that I will never, ever find that look sexy. On even the most attractive ladies in the world. It's not a matter of being "fashion forward". Fashion does not define what is and is not "sexy." And it never will. It's a matter of what makes my heart race versus making me wince and spit. Hell, I've dumped girlfriends in the past just because they painted their toenails at all. I'm not kidding. I guess that's why I want to see pumps, and why I like toe cleavage... there's no toenail to be seen at all. All the grace and natural beauty of the female foot, without the potential of seeing something I find fairly nasty in most cases.

But just so folks don't think I'm completely closed-minded, there are some females who do seem to have the perfectly maintained toes/nails that I don't mind seeing at all. If every woman's feet looked like these, I wouldn't have a problem with sandals and open-toed shoes. One woman who just always seems to have the perfect look is Ali Larter. See pics of her here, here and here. No paint, no gimmicks, no "fashion forward" crap. Just plain old beautiful feet. Honestly, why can't every woman do this?

Here's another example... Petra Nemcova in these photos: one, two, three . This isn't that hard to do, ladies. In fact, it should be easier and cheaper than the alternative.

Chief, too much time on your hands... but, I agree that the shoe designers have lost direction. Some of the shoes worn on Sex in the City make me laugh. They take the pure sexuality of the high heel pump, and degrade it into something very strange. In some of the promo photos for the movie, Samantha has on a great pair of red pumps...classic but pure sex! In fact, in several of the avalanche of promo photos, the women of the movie display a classic pump; one which always motived me to watch.

I digress. Classic 4" high heel pumps will always catch my eye. One of of favorite past times waiting for flights at Dulles, Dallas-Fort Worth, or O'Hare is to casually stroll the concourse and note the great pumps worn by well dressed women. I mention these airports because women who transit them seem to have the most fashion sense.

Just a few lengthy comments.....

This is most definitely the best website I've ever been to. I thought i was alone in the toe clevage fetish but thank GOD! I can't stand the new shoes, In fact i hate them soo much that I'd rather talk about my love for Pointy high heels and toe clevage pumps! Nice rant though man. i don't know where you find your stuff but keep it going!

Well Chief, my fetish forvthe female feet bare in footware is strong, i just hate hoisery, it should be banned by the fashion experts, I toetally agree with you about the kind of footware, i prefer closed toe pumps than open toed, but sometimes the sheer beauty of a female feet well cared in sandals or open toe pumps just catch my attention.

Right on! It's rare that i like open toed shoes, but when i see some i like i can't help but look. If anyone has any clue where i can find more pictures of ladies in pointed shoes let m know because i want to rack up on as many as i can!
